Welcome to The Wizard Trading Blog

This blog is dedicated to chronicling my experience with The Wizard. The Wizard is an internet-based system for entering and exiting trades based on market trends. The Wizard is a subscription service and offers a wide range of investment choices – U.S. Stocks, Forex, Futures, and ETF’s. This blog will specifically address the U.S. Stock trading subscription. The system was developed by Gene Stunkel and is currently used by over 2,000 traders. They claim that The Wizard is being used to manage portfolios as large as $5 million.

A little bit about my background. I’m a Vice President of Commercial Lending at a $500 million community bank. My trading experience is very limited. I understand the very basics of buying, selling, and shorting stocks. This is an important aspect of my experiment because if I can make money using this system, I am positive that anybody reading this blog will be able to do the same. The new version of the Wizard, slated for release within the next week, is expected to be ultra user friendly. I will surely put this to the test.

In order to keep myself out of trouble with The Wizard folks I will discuss my open trades generally and then will give you specific tickers once trades have closed. I plan to explore the process of identifying the trend, searching for trades, placing trades, managing open trades, and money management. I will also comment on ease of use through each step of the process.
